Al-kobra historical building had embraced the launching of the second week the Ehdeniyat International festival that is entitled Metanoia. This experimental event has gathered six pilot artists from Ehden and surrounding whereas water and green nature were a source of inspiration in its models, transformations and the music that it produce.

So when the human being is the son of the Earth, and the Earth is the mother of Humanity, each of Antoine Alam, Jamil Ghaleb, Samih Zaatar, Boulos Khawam, Alexy Frangieh and Romanos Mokarzel walked through this secret pass, each one on his way, so they created the: “Water horizons viewing the other side of the social person”… from the drawing, painting to the photography, sculpture and poetry… the first night of Metanoia seemed to be very profound, very dimensional, closed back the Human being into the earth, followed a delicate art to break the ice and re-relate the Human to the Earth.

The night of August 11 was also a night of Jazz of high level with the famous musician Arthur Satayan and his band and that will be playing again on August 12. This combination between the experimental art and Jazz music, had gained the attention of a big number of future artists and musicians and hundreds of connoisseurs who came from several Lebanese areas to enjoy this unique night. The head of Almidan NGO, Mrs. Rima Frangieh  who always included the environment as a NGO priority attended this event and commended on it and on communicating the voice of nature to the human being through the Jazz and several types of experimental arts.

Finally, the audience stressed out on the paradigm move that carried the Metanoia week of Ehdeniyat after the week of the International artists and before the kids’ week, and the complex mixture among Geology, Philosophy and the music in a deep and ultra beauty template.
